Social media influencer Elsa Majimbo recently encountered an embarrassing mishap when she accidentally shared a private video meant for her boyfriend to her followers.
Majimbo, who regularly posts outfit check videos, mistakenly uploaded an intimate video on Threads, realizing her error while engaging with comments on the platform.
Addressing the mistake, Majimbo urged her followers to disregard the video, stating the importance of being cautious about what is posted online.
“If you’ve seen that video, number one please ignore it. Two always check what you post. It will give you a reflection of life after you see yourself on a social media platform. I just wanted to say I’m sorry, guys, I didn’t mean to expose that kind of content,” she explained in a video apology.
Adding: “And don’t get me wrong, I’m very confident in my body, but I want to do it on my terms and not in such a private and intimate space,”
Further addressing the incident on X, Majimbo expressed her regret, stating, “If anyone has seen that sexy video, I am so sorry. That was meant for my man. Not social media. Forget and act like you didn’t see.”
She continued to apologize for the unintended exposure, “I feel so bad for exposing uncalled-for content on my crowd. So sorry about that video, guys, honest mistake. Love y’all.”

The breakup followed a situation where her boyfriend’s lack of trust became apparent after an uncomfortable incident during a panel conference in Miami.
Majimbo was required to wear a microphone attached to her underwear, an arrangement that led to an awkward moment with the technician.
Disappointed by her boyfriend’s reaction, who suggested she might have been flirting, Majimbo ended the relationship, saying, “I told him I would hang up on him, and told him he would never see me, smell me, nor hear from me again. True to my word, he has never seen me again.”
