Gachagua allies say “We”ll not be intimidated and Kenya Kwanza should prepare to go home in 2027.”

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s allies have insisted that they will not be intimidated, vowing to continue speaking the truth.

They also asked the church to stand firm and call out the government over what they said were lies being told to Kenyans.

Speaking during a church service in Kajiado North Constituency, the politicians railed on the Kenya Kwanza government saying it has let down Kenyans.

The politicians hailed the church for calling out the government, adding that the clergy must continue defending Kenyans and speaking the truth to power.

“I want to say that some of us will continue standing with the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, because he is the deputy president that I elected, let nobody intimidate us,” said Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba.

“I want to thank the church for speaking the truth on the lies about the promises made to Kenyans that are yet to be implemented. Remain firm and defend Kenyans,” she said.

The MP said they will continue traversing the country to tell Kenyans the truth about failures by the government saying the Kenya Kwanza administration will be sent home in 2027.

“I know and I believe that in 2027 Kenyans will send this government home,” she said.

Kajido Senator Seki Lenku said the government has failed Kenyans on health because the Social Health Insurance Fund is allegedly not working.

“The government has failed Kenyans on SHIF, our people are dying in public hospitals and nothing is being done, this is a matter that the government must clarify and the church must call out this regime,” said Seki.

“Let the government listen to the people, our people are dying because of poor health service, public hospitals are a deathtrap for Kenyans.”‘

On his part, former UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala said the ground is shifting across the country and people are yearning for change in 2027.

He appealed to the church to continue praying for Gachagua saying that his supporters have decided to remain calm.

“Since his removal from office, Baba(Gachagua) has never incited any community, but those who planned his removal should learn from his behaviour so that when we defeat you in 2027 you don’t go to the streets,” Malala said.
