Former Machachari actor Lemmy Malik alias Govi says he is thankful of the growth he has made despite it being a slow one.

Govi, who rose to fame for acting in shows such as Makutano Junction and Machachari, has also been an Emcee at the tender age of 12.

Speaking during a recent interview, Govi stated one of the biggest mistakes he made was to turn down other opportunities in favour of the Citizen TV show.

“I thought that by staying in Machachari I would make it big. I would get calls from Belgium, South Africa and even the UK, but I would decline. I regret that,” he intimated.

Adding

“It was hard to negotiate that amount because the show had other cast and crew members to pay and that’s why I came to a conclusion to leave,”
