The 32-year-old mother of twins was married to a Mzungu man, Greg Twiss, who was 32 years older than her. The lovebirds served couple goals, and many in age-gap relationships looked up to them.
In a previous interview with TUKO.co.ke, Ciru said her marriage, just like any other, was not perfect.
In February 2023, Ciru and Greg publicly announced they had parted ways.
Ciru revealed that their relationship didn’t end because of the age gap, but,
“Main reason is that we were going in different directions and I thought it was the best decision for our family to part ways. Our visions/purposes in life were different and wasn’t wiliing to stay in a relationship where I wasn’t seeing growth,” she said.
She added that breakups are not easy, and she was slowly healing.
“It hasn’t been easy. Endings are never easy, but they are important, especially if things aren’t working out.”

In March, Ciru announced that she was engaged, leaving fans surprised, with many claiming she moved on so fast after divorcing Greg.
The mother of two kept the identity of her man private and has been sharing clips only showing his hands, leaving fans guessing.
On April 16, Ciru shared a video of her in a wedding gown, holding flowers while flaunting a cute wedding ring, revealing that she had finally tied the knot with her new man.
“I am married,” she captioned the video.
She accompanied the video with a post that read:
“To God be the glory great things He has done ❤️.”
Later, she said a video revealing the identity of her man, leaving fans shocked. The groom was none other than Greg!
