Suspected Kware serial killer targeted beautiful women according to DCI boss

The man suspected to be behind the killing and dumping of bodies at the Kware dumpsite in Embakasi targeted beautiful women,  the Directorate of Criminal Investigations has said.

DCI boss Mohammed Amin told a press conference that the victims of the 33-year-old suspect were good-looking women.

“He had a predation for beautiful women although beauty is subjective. What could be beautiful to you may not be beautiful to another person,” he explained.

He said the suspect testified to investigating officers that he targeted beautiful women.

He noted that the man confessed to luring and killing 42 females and disposing of their bodies at a dump site.

According to the DCI, the suspect stated that his first victim was his wife whom he married in 2022.

DCI boss said the suspect claimed he strangled his wife to death and dismembered her before dumping her remains in the dumpsite.

The man was arrested in the Soweto area of Kayole at around 3 a.m. as he was leaving a venue after watching a football game.

Amin added that the suspect further confessed that he would dispose of the phones of his victims to unsuspecting people for as little as Sh500.

He further added that the suspect confessed to having carnal knowledge of some of his victims.

“As he was being arrested, the suspect was in the process of luring yet another victim by the name of Susan. We should be able to get Susan who will assist is with investigations,” he stated.

“We are dealing with serial killer, a psychopathic killer who has no respect for human life.”

Amin noted that the breakthrough came after forensic analysis of the mobile phone of one of the victims revealed mobile money transactions conducted on the day she went missing.

Amin urged anyone with missing family members to report to the nearest police station.
