Transport has been paralysed along the busy Nairobi – Mombasa highway following an ongoing protest by bodaboda operators.
The operators on Wednesday blocked the Mombasa bound Lane at Mlolongo town interrupting the free flow of traffic.
They are protesting the torching of some of their colleagues’ motorbikes during Tuesday’s anti-government demos within the town.
Five motorbikes were according to police torched during the incident.
Most motorists have been diverted to the Nairobi Expressway.
