After a furious dispute, a first-year Machakos University student’s boyfriend fatally stabbed her girlfriend on Tuesday morning.
The suspect, a fifth-year student at the institution, is alleged to have stabbed his girlfriend in the neck area, causing her to bleed profusely and ultimately die.
According to reports, the pair had been living together for some time in Machakos Town.
According to a police report on the incident, while investigations were underway, the deceased’s body was transferred to the mortuary at Machakos General Hospital.
Additionally, the suspect was taken into custody at the police station after being apprehended. It is anticipated that his version of events will play a significant role in determining the circumstances leading up to the regrettable death.
To assist with the investigations, a buddy of the primary suspect who was discovered at the location was also taken into custody.
